relationship between chiropractic treatment and exercise, Dr. Ted
took another one year postgraduate course in exercise rehabilitation
through CMCC.
Being a father of three, he

in Nutrition, which he completed in 2009 from the
University of
Bridgeport in
Connecticut.
His continuing pursuit of
health related knowledge; his proficiency in several different
chiropractic techniques and his 17 years of professional experience

Rachelle Murphy,
RMT
Rachelle grew up on the
lower mainland as a very active child and teenager: participating in
such activities as softball, dance, and camping. Her love for being
active and her want for helping people assisted her in knowing at an
early age that massage therapy was the career for her.
After high school, Rachelle
attended the University
College of the Fraser Valley in preparation for the upcoming
three year massage therapy program. In 2000, Rachelle moved to
Victoria to attend the
West
Coast College of Massage Therapy. Rachelle has been practicing
as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2003.
She joined the Frackson team
in September of 2005. Since then, the team has expanded to include
three more practitioners, creating a multidisciplinary clinic.
Working with a team of such individuals has always been a goal of
hers.
Her repertoire includes, but
is not limited to sports injuries; children with muscle tension; and
general, non-specific pain and tension, caused from day to day
activities.
Rachelle has specially
designed pillows to accommodate pregnant women right through their
third trimester. She has also done a lot of work with ICBC patients
recovering from motor vehicle accidents. Rachelle is
passionate about her job and is working towards a degree in health
sciences through
Thompson River University.
Since becoming an RMT,
Rachelle has struggled with varying food sensitivities which have
made her quite conscious about the foods she eats and how it is
prepared, leaning towards whole and fresh foods, and staying away
from prepared foods full of chemicals.
With her devotion to
healthcare, this has led her to pursue her second passion, a balance
of food and exercise. Exercise has always been a priority in
Rachelle’s life. She has been doing an exercise boot camp since last
January as well as working with a personal trainer weekly.
She loves to take advantage
of the outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and fishing,
especially in the summer. As a result of Rachelle’s own experiences,
her goal is to inspire and encourage a healthy, balanced lifestyle
among her patients.

Jaime Blacklock,
Receptionist
Jaime was born in Victoria and though she has lived elsewhere for the majority of her 31 years, Victoria has always felt the most like home.
She has been a patient of Dr. Ted’s since 2003, and previously worked for him in 2006 – 2007 in-between backpacking through Europe with her sister and moving to Australia to live with the Aussie, Dave, she had met during her travels through Scotland.
Jaime is very happy to be living in Victoria once again and thrilled to be back on the Frackson Health Care team, working in a positive and health-focused environment.
She is passionate about traveling, natural health and nutrition, and cooking. She also loves burying her nose in a good book, getting outside to enjoy the natural beauty of Vancouver Island, as well as getting lost in the sounds of good music (especially when it’s live!).
And, in case you’re wondering, Jaime did manage to bring her Aussie home to Canada and they were married in September 2010. Currently they are waiting to hear if Dave will be allowed to stay on as a Canadian resident, but most importantly, they are excited for the arrival of their first child at the end of this coming November, 2011.

Krista Frackson,
Office Manager
Krista is a born-and-raised fourth-generation Victoria girl. She spent her first few years out of high school working as a florist who specialized in wedding design. During that time she attended night school in accounting and dental programs.
At the age of 20 she moved to Toronto Ontario to live with her fiancé while he finished college. While living in Toronto she was hired as a receptionist in a dental practice owned by two dentists.
Over the next two years this small practice grew into a dental centre team of fourteen with Krista in the role of office manager. It was this management position that gave Krista the experience she needed for her position today as office manager for Dr. Ted.
When the office first opened in 1992 Krista was responsible for the bookkeeping and some part time reception duties. In August 2008 the office was relocated to its current location which was much larger, allowing it to grow into a multi-disciplinary health centre. Over the years Krista has increased her time in the office and now has the role of office manager/receptionist and bookkeeper for Dr. Ted.
For those of you who may not know, Krista is also Dr. Ted’s wife. They have been married for twenty years this year and have three teenage children. They love being able to raise their family in the city of Victoria where they grew up together.
When they are not working together in the office, Krista and Dr. Ted love to spend time with family and friends. They love to do many things with their family including movies, sports, and travel.
Krista has found it to be a wonderful experience working along side her husband to develop a health care office where they are able to help many wonderful people. She is looking forward to being a part of the continued growth of this health care team where each one feels like extended family.
Krista finds it to be a true blessing that she loves her job!
